also, water makes them fall off temporarily, so jump in the bath tub and then have momma (or some other tall thing) use carpet fresh pet foofoo powder...kills fleas dead and makes house smell pretty..

I had just my one cat, Yggdrasil, and he was flea free. Then I adopted my new addition, Maya, last year. She brought lots of icky fleas. I tried EVERYTHING! Baths, "natural" flea remedies, sprays, bombed my apartment, flea collars, nothing worked! Finally, I broke down and got Advantage. Love the stuff. Within 12 hours they were flea free and I just had to clean my apt. Took about 2 months for them and my apt to be flea free. But it's been 9 months now and now re-infestations (and I stopped using Advantage 4 months ago). But my kitties are also indoor.
